Jet's shoes
About a week ago I bought Jet some new shoes. I was REALLY hesitant about buying them because 1) they are really ugly 2) I don't like giving into the whole "commercial" thing 3) I totally gave in and let Jet get something that I didn't want him to have. Now I am feeling a little guilty about it and I wish I could take them back, but Jet has already worn them in with paint splatters and mud. I guess we'll just have to keep them. But next time I buy him some shoes, they are going to be from a no-name corner store in China town.

This is hilarious. I was JUST talking to travis about this topic last night! I was telling him that while I may be into the whole commercial thing (I am obsessed with clothes, what can I say?) I don't want my kids having that kind of stuff, when they grow so fast, and are gonna ruin it within the first 3 minutes of wearing it. I take care of my stuff, AND I hardly ever buy anything full price. I told Trav that when I have my baby shower (whenever I get pregnant) that I don't care if people buy me fancy clothes for my kid. Just go to DI, find something cute, wash it really good and give it to me. Don't waste money!!! HAHA. Love you.
too too funny... grace totally wanted a pair of twinkle toes for school, and i flat out told her NO! they are so ugly to me... so i settled for a pair of sperry topsiders... which she hates to death (even though i love them) and i feel guilty too... first that i spent an extreme amount of money on a pair of shoes... and second, i am forcing her to wear shoes that she hates... oh the drama!
